Pharmacy Stock Controller

The role

Healthwave is currently recruiting a Pharmacy Stock Controller to join our team in Dundrum, Dublin.

The position will suit those who have worked as a dispensing technician for a number of years and are looking for an exciting career move into a larger team.

The successful candidate will join Ireland's first digital pharmacy, working alongside our Dispensing and eCommerce teams ensuring optimal inventory levels across our operation.

The role

This is a full time non-dispensing role, Monday to Friday, 6-8 hours per day.

We offer flexibility around start times to avoid rush hour and facilitate school runs.

The pharmacy closes 1-2pm for lunch each day.

Our dispensary use Touchstore software.

About Healthwave

Healthwave launched in 2014 to bring affordable medicines to Irish patients and make it easier to order and manage prescription.

Since then we have grown to 30,000 patients across Ireland and have a team of 20 at our dispensing hub in Dublin.

We deliver monthly prescriptions at low cost. across Ireland to our members.

In 2020 we rolled out PillPods, a new way for patients to get their medications delivered in personalised pods, making it much easier to remember if medicines have been taken.

Our eCommerce Health Store launched in 2024 and is quickly becoming Ireland's go to site for healthcare products.

Key responsibilities:

• Placing daily orders with suppliers

• Putting away & rotating stock

• Ensuring the dispensary and eCommerce teams are adequately stocked at all times to fill their orders

• Sourcing products from alternative suppliers in the event of shortages

• Managing excess stock and returns

• Overseeing expiry date checking of all stock

• Interacting and building a relationship with company reps

• Working as part of the dispensing team

• Liaising with the managing pharmacist and financial controller

The role is based at our Dundrum store, conveniently located across from the Balally Green Luas stop.

Applicants must have the following to be considered for shortlisting:

• Pharmacy dispensing experience in Ireland

• Experience working in a fast paced environment

• Experience sending dispensary orders to various suppliers

• Fluent English
